Thank You
Good morning!! Ah, another week…to start me off, I played along with the My Favourite Things weekly sketch. I brought out my fun A La Modes and decided to give our little teacher a bit of colour by paper piecing :) I really don’t know if I will ever get into colouring…I know, strange for a teacher!! The paper I’ve used is from Basicgrey’s Kissing Booth. I just love the fun colours, they’re not just for Valentine’s :) And how cute is that little journal tab? I think those are my new obsession :) Have a fabulous day!!

Now Join Your Hands
Good morning!! I hope your weekend is going well. I had a chance to make my February card for Jen’s Sketch For You to Try. There is a HUGE prize in December up for grabs for a lucky card maker who has played all year…maybe it will be me!! It took me all month to think of what those circles on the side should be…stars, hearts, flowers… then I needed some more wedding cards so I went with the circle/heart die and stamp from PTI’s Love Lives Here. I sure do love that set :) The sentiment is from Fiskars’ Just Married Quotes. I sure do love THAT set too :) Sending you smiles and cheer…

Birthday Cheer
Good morning!! Once again, I can’t resist playing along with this week’s colourQ inspiration colours. Sometimes, when I first see a colour combo or inspiration photo, a certain paper or certain stamp pops into my head. It happened with this card…this lovely grey gingham by October Afternoon came to mind along with my beloved Button Boutique stamps…hmmm, maybe there’s no surprise there!! I couldn’t resist using the “guaranteed washable” stamp…it makes me laugh out loud for some reason! Maybe it reminds me of babies…ACK!! LOL Adding a sentiment to button cards is not easy for me…but adding a little sentiment tab does the trick ;) I’ve got a nice little stock pile of cards ready to go to my sister’s work place on Friday! I hope they like them like my staff :) Have a lovely Saturday and thanks so much for all your sweet comments :)

Woohoo!! Oh boy, it’s Friday!! The weekend is here, it’s a Professional Day at work AND there’s another Viva La Verve sketch ready to go!! It’s the last sketch of the month so if you’ve been playing all month, link up all your sketches in the Champions thread for a chance to win a $100.00 shopping spree at Verve!! I love CAS for baby boy cards so that’s what I went with today :) PLUS I’m getting quite the stash of baby cards ready to sell at my sister’s work place next week. Welcome Baby
Good morning!! Wow, 3 morning posts in a row!! Maybe I’m back on track!! {wink!} Today’s card uses this week’s Waltzingmouse Sketch. I am on a bit of a baby kick this week as I’m taking my cards into my sister’s workplace next week and I know baby and wedding cards will be hot items. I rotated this sketch 90 degrees so that I could have a horizontal sentiment. Still loving Say it Loud and so happy I got it last month :) Have a glorious day!! Hey, we’re half way to the weekend :)

Mojo Monday #229 ~ Baby Wishes to Julee & Mark
I have the honour of being a part of a very special blog hop today :) If you’ve arrived from Lori Craig's blog, you are right on track. AND if you haven’t heard, Julee Tilman, the owner and uber talented designer of Verve Stamps, and her husband Mark are expecting identical twin boys on…guess when? My birthday!! Yes, St. Patty’s Day is the official due date! However, as we know, babies come when they come but I couldn’t resist adding a little shamrock to my card in hopeful anticipation :) I also created my own sentiment, one I love, but got to add “4 feet” instead of the usual “2 feet.” We are using this week’s Mojo Monday sketch and offering Julee and Mark some parenting advice.
Hmm, there are many things I wish I could share but here are the ones that I think will be useful right now :)
1) read and sing to your boys every day!
2) let them see your love for each other…it will be the relationship example they will use as young men.
I’m so excited for you, Julee and Mark!! I know you are anxious, we all were…but you’ll make your way together :) Now, no salsa dancing or spicy foods as I’m rooting for March 17th {wink!} Next up is Toni Storie's blog! And if you would like to see the whole hop list, head over to Teresa’s blog!
Love and hugs,

You’re the Coolest Chick I Know
Good evening! Still don’t have my normal posting schedule back but I’m not going to fight it, I’m just going to go with the creative flow! Tonight’s card is inspired by this week’s Moxie Fab World’s Tuesday Trigger photo. It’s been on the back of my mind all week and I finally couldn’t resist all the colours and patterns!
It’s modern and traditional and I love it! The headboard reminded me of a fancy frame so I used my new My Favorite Things cameo frame to spotlight my Verve Chick’s Rule sentiment (on sale this month HERE!). There’s one more day for this week’s trigger…are you playing along? I got a lot more organized in the studio today while watching Whitney Houston’s funeral. I thought it was beautiful and loved the music and heartfelt stories. She was deeply loved and isn’t that what it’s all about? Sweet dreams,

Where There is Love
TGIF!! Woohoo!! In keeping with “love” week, here’s a little card full of love that you could use any time of year. This would work for an anniversary, wedding or bridal shower card :) It’s Friday and that means there is another super fabulous Viva La Verve sketch over on the Verve SCS Forum!! Diva Laurie has a sketch full of fun layering possibilities, not to mention a great way to use up some precious patterned paper scraps :)
After checking out the Verve Forum, be sure to stop by the Verve Store. Julee has another fun sale that started this week. The sentiment I’ve used on this card is from Text Objects which is part of this sale :)
Well, that’s all for me. On Monday I was sure this week would go by quickly and it has!! Next up in the studio is organizing my ribbon!! I’m so happy the racks are up and waiting to be filled :) I’ll take some pics when I’m done :) Happy Friday, everyone!!

Kindness
Good evening!! I thought I’d be back to my regular morning posts, but I had time to play with this week’s Waltzingmouse Sketch :) Oh, I wasn’t going to have time but we had a HUGE dump of snow today so I went straight home after work instead of running all my errands. Needless to say, I got my ribbon all organized and had time to make this sweet little kindness card using this fun sketch. I used eyelets for the small circles and tied twine into a bow.
Okay, here’s a photo of the ribbon racks!! ACK!! I could probably have gotten them all into 2 racks…but last time we only put 2 up, I ran out of room quickly. I think all the purging I did helped PLUS I keep my seam binding in a small container now, not on the ribbon rack. I may use that extra rack for some embellishment bottles. You can also see my die cutting area and my paper:) All my SU paper is in the lower cabinet and all my PTI paper is up on the counter in a magazine holder. My patterned paper pads are the wicker basket and my scrap bags are in a matching basket right beside it :) I love having all my dies, paper and cutting tools in one area :)
TGIF tomorrow!! Come back first thing in the morning for a brand new Viva La Verve sketch!! Thanks for stopping by :) Hugs!

Happy Birthday
Good evening!! Well, I am officially anniversary challenged out!! Thank goodness this is the last one…I know I didn’t need to do every one, but I did and I am DONE. Really, it would be nice to only have a few card challenges…especially when one works full time and only has one day. Having said that, I have some nice cards in my stash now :) The last challenge is to make an interactive card…well, the only kind I like to make are useful ones that include little book marks :) So I made just that :)
Indeed, we are surrounded by miracles!! Okay, I’m off to make my lunch and then tuck this little card maker into bed :) Sweet dreams!

Bringin’ Back the Mini Pizza Box!
Good morning! Happy Valentine’s Day!! I had a few projects left over from the Verve Release last month that I didn’t post and thought it was appropriate to show this one on Valentine’s Day :) I always like to stretch myself a bit and make a 3D project for new releases. These little pizza boxes are so cute and it always amazes me that it only takes one sheet of paper to make them :) PLUS I get to fill them with yummy theme candy for the photo shoot ;)
Wishing you love and hugs every day…not just for today :) Remember, Love is the Answer!

May You Find Peace
Good evening! Another card for the Papertrey Ink anniversary challenge. Today we have to use leaves and butterflies. I always think of sympathy cards when I think of leave and butterflies so that’s what came out on this card. I also discovered that one of the flourishes in Gratitude Journal fits perfectly into the bottom and top of a Labels 9 die!! Score! I’ll keep this short as the dh said he would hang my ribbon racks tonight!! Woohoo!! It will feel good to have all those spools sorted and put in their place :) Hope your Monday was wonderful!

Wishing You Luck
Good morning! Ah, a regular post this morning! I had a little extra time in the studio last night so I decided to create something using this week’s My Favourite Things sketch…
I thought of the A La Mode gal as soon as I saw that long panel. She fits perfectly into the long rectangle nestabilities die:) For some reason, all the layers made me think of Crate Papers Farmhouse collection…LOVE this paper! Hope your week has started out right! It’s a busy one at work…Valentine’s Day tomorrow, 100 Day on Wednesday and Parent/Teacher interviews on Wednesday and Thursday :) Busy, but fun!! Thanks so much for stopping by and all your sweet comments…I do so love and appreciate them :)

Sweet Love
Good evening! Another quick post for the Papertrey Ink’s Anniversary challenge. Today we have to incorporate hearts. I went onto Pinterest and had several photos to work with but got sidetracked. Look at my new inspiration!! ACK!!
When the dh and I were out today, we stopped at Starbucks and they had the cutest love cups!! I couldn’t resist making a card based on my cup :) I had to dig through a lot of stamp sets to get the right sentiments…not easy, but I love the way it turned out :) Hope you do too :) Okay, off to dinner…it smells great! He’s making me rack of lamb :) (Red wine tonight, Lynn!)
