Happy Valentine's Day
Happy Sunday, friends! Spent a few happy hours in the studio today and got to play along with PTI's Make it Monday (on a Sunday!). I loved the simple design of Michelle's card so I used it to create 2 Valentine's cards. The first one uses a heart embossing folder with a heart frame and the second one uses a large polka dot embossing folder with a circle frame like Michelle's.
Thanks for stopping by!

Love You to Pieces ~ The Card Concept
Hello everyone! It's time for a new challenge over at The Card Concept challenge blog. Our challenge is based on this delicious photo...
My clean and layered card was inspired by the yummy stack of rainbow colours on a neutral background. I've used Reverse Confetti stamps and dies so I'm entering it into their Stock Your Stash challenge: Love is in the Air. I hope you'll head over to The Card Concept blog to see all the different interpretations from the Design Team then join in the fun! Have a great day!

To Have & To Hold ~ Transformation Tuesday
Greetings, friends! I made a card for the PTI's January Create Along with Us challenge, but they didn't have one this month. I loved the card so much, though, that I decided to turn it into a wedding card for PTI's Transformation Tuesday challenge. AND I made a very similar second card only changing up the sentiment and button.
Here are the 2 together...
Thanks for stopping by! Hope your week has been going well :)

From Cupid
Greetings, friends! I've been having so much fun again with my Reverse Confetti stamps and dies this past weekend. Jen's card HERE inspired this little number. A colleague at work needed to borrow my school key last week as she forgot hers in her classroom. She said she needed one of those big puffy keychains so she wouldn't forget her key at the end of the day. Well, while I was out this weekend, I saw this heart puff keychain and knew she would love it! I put it on her desk early this morning :)
I'm entering this sweet little card in the Reverse Confetti's Stock Your Stash challenge. Thanks for stopping by!

Let it Snow ~ Make it Monday
Hello! I've been happily creating in the studio this morning. I didn't think I would participate in this week's Make it Monday challenge because I didn't have a good tree stamp...WAIT! I do! Does anyone else have the classic Lovely as a Tree by Stampin' Up? Oh, my...I still have it! One of those sets you never get rid of. It was perfect for my project. I added a sweet sentiment from Snowfall Style :) Thanks for visiting!

Happy Heart Day
Hello, friends! It's my last day of holidays {insert sobbing face here} so I thought I would treat myself with a challenge I keep forgetting to play along with! I love my Reverse Confetti stamps and die cuts so I pulled out a whack of them to play along with their January Stock Your Stash Challenge: Love is in the Air. I'll be making a bunch of Valentine cards to take into work next month so this challenge is perfect...I'm sure I'll be entering it all month long! Here's my second card as I need to make two at a time to really stock my stash! I was inspired by Amy Rohl's card (so adorable!). Thanks for stopping by! Wish me luck for tomorrow!

Happy New Year and New Year's Mantra!
Happy New Year, friends! I love when our Christmas Break starts close to Christmas so we have a nice week after to clean up the decorations and PLAY in the studio. I love being able to play with PTI's Make it Monday early rather than scrambling to create something last minute on a Sunday. It's the A La Carte time so we get to pick a challenge we missed. Can you believe, that was a challenge? I've played along with most of them but did find one that I missed...#312, Framing Sentiments and Images with Laurie. Though my poinsettias are done now, I was happy to make one more for my card that will make it's way to my cousin in the States.
I'm also entering this into the Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge: Something New.
Speaking of PLAY...this is my "one word/New Year's Mantra" for the year. Being a Grade One teacher means that this word is always around me and a big part of what I try to bring into my class. However, it really became imprinted on my heart this summer when I bought a bracelet at a local market. The bracelet had a "2018" charm on it so I asked if I could change it out. The artist opened her charm container and the first one I saw was "PLAY." I picked it right away. So now it's my mantra for the year (and forever!). I'll leave you with a photo of the bracelet and some playful quotes...to see more, visit my Pinterest New Year's Mantra board. You'll also see quotes from past mantras. Thanks for stopping by!
