A Merry Christmas to You

merrychristmastoyou

Greetings friends!  In between baking and a bit of home decorating this weekend, I played with this week’s Waltzingmouse Sketch.  I love giving the Vintage Ornaments stamps lots of love at Christmas as they will soon be put away for another year.  I took another cue from Echo Park’s beautiful Winter Wishes paper for the colour combo.  White seam binding, jingle bells and bakers twine…no surprise there!  I will confess that I shake my bell cards to hear them jingle!  Such a joyful sound!  We’ve got Christmas Concerts and gingerbread houses on the go this week :)  It’s gonna be FUN! Thanks for stopping by and have a merry day!

This Christmas and Always

Peacejoyhope

Good morning!  It’s baking weekend here when I start the baking for Christmas.  I’ve toned it down over the years so I’m only making a few favourites and a couple of new goodies found on Pinterest :)  Today’s card is for the twelfth and final Jen’s Sketch for You to Try this year.  It’s also the final sketch ever as Jen puts to rest her fun sketch challenge.  It’s been a great ride, Jen!  I was in the mood for a white, silver and blue card with my addiction at the 'mo’, white seam binding and jingle bells :)

To qualify for all the fun prizes we have to list our year long entries…so here goes! I thought I’d include little pic of each card too :)  Hey, it’s Saturday morning! LOL

November CARDS

ohboy

Good morning!  I’m up to my eyeballs in getting my Christmas cards finished and into the mail, so I’m filling in the days here with my recently published cards seen last month in CARDS magazine.  This first one was for their sketch challenge so it’s new to the blog. These next ones have been on the blog at various times this year.

Merry Christmas

merrychristmas

Good morning!  Well, it’s December so yes, let’s start the preparations for Christmas.  For some of us, it’s the first Sunday of advent when we light the first purple candle as we prepare our hearts for Baby Jesus.  When I saw the colours for this week’s colourQ challenge, I thought of last year’s OA Holiday Style paper, but then I noticed all those colours in last year’s EP Holly Jolly Christmas…so I went for that one.  I just love making felt poinsettias so that was a detail must have :)  Thanks for visiting and have a wonderful day :)
