Verve Diva Inspirations Blog Hop (and Happy Birthday Canada!!)

Good morning dear friends!!! There’s a whole lot to celebrate today!!  I’m helping out our Diva Inspirations team start the month off right with a little Verve inspiration! It’s a month of birthdays over at Verve PLUS it’s Canada’s birthday too!!  Wahooo!! She’s 144 today!!  I have an easy way of remembering her age…100 years older than me minus a year ;)  I always like to post a little patriotic card on Canada Day so I added a little fun “eh to zed” (translated A to Z) by typing it out in Word, then stamping the classy labels stamp over top of it before die cutting.  It was soooo easy to do this with a clear stamp and the positioning system Julee has created for the dies.  A perfect cut!!  Then I added my beloved lightly stamped flower from Dream Big for a little something, something :)  But the whole card was really inspired by the fun maple leaf ribbon I picked up at Michaels last weekend.  OH,I just love berry sorbet with red. I added a bit more bling today for all the fireworks we’ll be seeing throughout the country tonight!!  I think this would be the perfect card for a July 1st birthday or to wish any friend from far away a happy birthday from Canada!  Have a wonderful day!!
