Good evening! It’s Day 2 of the Papertrey Ink 5th Anniversary celebrations and I’ve been lucky to have the time to create a little something tonight for the Freebie challenge. I saw the images this morning and thought about the card I would like to make during work today! No easy feat with 20 seven year olds at my ankles!! LOL I was once again inspired by Dawn’s fun image as well as her gorgeous card. Boy, does that girl rock die layering or WHAT? No surprise I turned to my favourite Mat Stack 4 and coordinating Woodgrain stamp :) LOVE! I don’t have the half and half dies, but I found out that by trimming the edger dies you can get a similar effect! I also got to try out my new Tim Holtz embossing folder with the new Big Shot (a present for the new studio ;). I must say that it does emboss deeper than the Cuttlebug without an extra shim. I was hoping it would when I bought it last June :) Now I’m off to unpack a few more boxes before bed :) Thanks for stopping by!

Well done Maureen, you pull your cards together perfectly every time.
What a gorgeous card, Maureen. Such a great colour combo. Love the embossing, so rich looking! So fun to be able to play along with these challenges!
Love that polka dotted paper - too fun :) Great use of Dawn's stamp too. You are going to have quite the cadillac studio when you are done :)
This is why I need the Modern Wood Mats! This is gorgeous Maureen! Love the embossing and the paper you've used! Beautiful!
I think I may swoon over that polka dotted dp and the wood grain mat stack stamp! Love! You rocked this challenge, my friend! I am so incredibly jealous of your big shot! I've been eyeing them lately.... Especially the electric version. Is it lazy of me to admit that it gets tiring turning that crank over and over when mass producing? How heavenly would it be to simply place the die, push a button, and watch the paper come out the other end?! Sigh....
Gorgeous Maureen, love all the layers.
Hugs,

Lovely Moe. I love that new Tim Holtz die and the touch of inking you added to it for just a bit more dimension is fabulous.
So fun and colorful, Moe! I love when you use those woodgrain frames!
Hi Maureen, love the card, awesome paper and Woodgrain stamp! Maureen, I have a big shot and in all honesty I LOVE it. It stays where I place it, cuts with little effort and by adding a cuttlehug plate, it cuts all those intricate dies. I use mine all the time. Also love the Tim Holtz embossing folders, they certainly pack a punch! Thanks so much for visiting me. Hugs ... Carole
