You are Sunshine for My Soul

sunshineformysoul
Today is the kick off for Papertrey’s Anniversary celebration!  The first challenge is to create a card inspired by one of the Design Team members.  Though they all inspire me, Dawn holds a special place in my heart.  I am constantly inspired by her colours, stamps, die layering and her bright, cheery spirit :)  It was beyond my dreams to meet her but I did last summer at Stamp a faire :)  Remember this?

I would like to thank Dawn and the whole Design Team AND the gals (and David and Dave) behind the scenes for being sunshine to my soul :)  Congratulations on your anniversary :)  I’ll leave you with one last picture from Stamp a faire…me and Lynn as honourary DT members!! LOL

Awww I wish I could have been there too :)
Your card is sunshine for my own soul, Diva! You've made me rethink my decision not to purchase Harvest Berries...! Sunshine for my soul, but maybe not for my wallet! LOL!
Hugs!

Hello, dear friend!! Your card is absolutely adorable....filled with so many things I love -- including your color choices!! (Love the touch of mustard!)

Thank you also for your kind words....they mean more to me than you know. It was a thrill to meet you after having 'known' you so long online. Just thought of you again this week, as I saw the card you gave me at SAF, in my studio. :)

I'm with Aimes on rethinking the berries set! This is so gorgeous. I loved that you used non-traditional colors too!

Just pulled brownies out of the oven for Jonathon/Marcel. I'm home with them since they aren't feeling great...but of course we can't watch the SuperBowl without a treat of our own! Ice cream and hot fudge to be added too!

Love this! My favorite part is the two different stitches around the edge! I'm thinking I'm going to "need" Harvest Berries!

Your card is so awesome! I love that flower, and the ginkgo leaves are perfect. What fun to see Stamp a Faire pictures too. It was so fun to meet such fabulous people that day, including you! :)

Well Maureen this is my last comment in my catch up and a lovely one too.
Isn't it nice when out of nowhere, so to speak, we make a new friend or meet someone we have chatted to and find a friendship lying in wait. It goes to prove that there are some lovely people out there and it't not all doom and gloom as some would have us believe. We must always believe and trust or we create that negativity don't you think.
This last card is gorgeous. I love the genko leaves trailing up the empty space and the flower is just the right splash of colour to give the card zing!! LOVELY..
Take care love Linda (UK)

My oh my, I'm loving this card! I love that you put the newsprint on the mat stack die...and the way that the harvest berries are coming out behind it is just perfect :)
