Husband and Wife

husbandandwife

Good morning!  Today’s card is very appropriate for my weekend.  See, this husband and wife are on a little mini vacation enjoying some shopping, sunshine and most importantly, each other :)  I had some play time in the studio before we left and the new Play Date colour challenge AND the Moxie Fab World Damask and Brocade challenge were calling to me.  You have to be careful with black and yellow…it can look bumblebee-ish which is fine if you want that look…but I wanted it to look elegant (damask) and funky (polka dots).  Hope that’s how it came out.  Thanks for visiting and I hope you are enjoying some sunshine where you are…if not with the weather, then in your heart :)

Absolutely no bumble bee! Loved that you used a lighter shade of the yellow. The damask and dots together are divine. I hope you and Tony are having a fabulous getaway...sounds like the perfect relaxing weekend!

Hope you have a wonderful weekend. My hubby and I had our 22nd anniversary this weekend. Just hung out as we both got motorcycles in the last month as our gifts. :)

This is a lovely card, love the colors!

Good morning Moe! I just returned from a wonderful vacation with my husband. He was in Europe for work, so we met in London and then traveled though France. It was fabulous! Your card made me smile this morning, as it really was a husband and wife time...! Hope all is well with you!
