I Need Some Girl Talk

Good morning!  Well, this card is very appropriate for today…I’ll be getting some great girl talk in with a dear friend at breakfast this morning :)  One of the MANY things I love about being off in the summer is being out and about during the week…breakfast downtown, making appointments when it suits me, and shopping when it’s not busy :)  It’s these little things I really appreciate.  Today’s card uses the current My Favourite Things sketch challenge.  I haven’t used my sweet Latte A La Mode gal for awhile so I dug her out and paired her with a sentiment from Girl Talk.  I felt my Lilybee Design papers were perfect for a cheery, summery look.  Hope your morning finds you cheery as well.  Thanks so much for visiting :)  Your comments always make me smile :)

what’s in it?

stamps: my favourite things girl talk, miss you a latte

ink: versafine onyx

paper: pti, lilybee designs

accessories: pti border, banner dies, button, twine, spellbinders nestabilities, stitching

Do you have room for the girl to carry a fountain diet coke? So, so sweet! I love the cool color combo...the blues and green together are fabulous.

What a sweet card! Love how you paper pieced the to-go cups. See you soon for breakfast! Looking forward to it!

Love how you paper pieced the coffee cups! I love meeting friends in the summer, too...wish I could have this much time off all the time! :D

Loving the paper pieced coffee sleeves. Great take on the sketch too. Was breakfast at Cora's by any chance?! We now have one here and just love going there! Enjoy your day.

Oh how I'm loving that you're already taking Summer at that lovely, slower pace. I can't wait to casually stroll out in the sunshine for my breakfast!
She's a real cutie on your card, Diva! Still rockin' the paper-piecing I see. When I get over there, I'm bring my markers for you to play with and you can teach me how to have the patience to paper-piece! LOL!
