Verve May Spotlight Hop ~ Release Day!

Welcome back to Day 3 of Verve's May Spotlight Hops!  If you've come here from Marisa's blog, you are on the right track! Today's featured focus is designer's choice, so you might just sneak a peek at a whole bunch of must-haves!

On Wednesday, I told you all that I have a new favourite Verve flower from the Beautiful Things set...and here it is again :)  There is something about the way it stamps, the crispness of line, the symmetry...I can't put my finger on it, all I know is that I love it, pure and simple! I've added the "beautiful" die on this card along with the OLD "u" from  I Heart U Die Set.  I think it's a great way to make your stamps and dies go further!  I created a black shadow on the "u" by offsetting it slightly from the one I cut out of patterned paper.  The little side tag was created using the small stitched flag in the new Stitched Pennants Die Set.  I thought this tiny quote from an older set, Just Breathe was the perfect complement to the main sentiment.  I'm using my Viva La Verve sketch.  Head over there soon to find out how you could win a Verve gift certificate this month!  Finally, head over to Stacey's blog for more inspiration!
