Hello everyone! Here's my take on the PTI Blog Hop inspiration photo. I was inspired by the colours, twine, and our new season...it's officially Fall Y'all! I had a happy accident making this card. I was cutting out the "Grateful" from some vintage white cardstock because I wanted the word in white. I only laid part of the card stock onto the die so only part of the outline was cut. It looked kind of cool so before I trimmed the edges off, I put it down on top of the green maple leaf and liked what I saw! I may have discovered something new here!? Enjoy the rest of the hop! Thanks for visiting!

Thanks ~ PTI Make it Monday
Hi friends! I'm up early on a Saturday morning now that my body is used to waking up at 6:30 :) I had started this card last night, laying out the stamps onto the paper and die cutting the shapes but finished it this morning. It's for this week's PTI Make it Monday challenge. Betsy is asking us to make a masculine card using florals. It was fun digging through my stamps and finding leaves from Leave it Be and florals from Friendly Flower. Hope your weekend has started out well...thanks for stopping by!

Glory to God
Hello! It may look like I've totally skipped over Fall and am heading into winter with the Christmas card, but I promise you I have! LOL I'm playing along with this month's PTI Create Along with Us challenge. I picked Melissa's beautiful card to be inspired by...
I'm using some Echo Park plaid paper so I chose blues instead of pinks. Then I just tried to mimic all of the lovely details Melissa added to her masterpiece. Thanks for stopping by! Hope your week is going well :)

There are TWO $30 gift vouchers to the Verve store up for grabs this month and two ways to win! First, comment on the design team's blog hop posts (linked below) for an entry in the first giveaway. Then to be entered into our challenge prize drawing, go get inky and link up your take on the challenge. You have until October 5 to link up. Feel free to play along with the challenge as many times as you like. Verve stamps aren't required to play, but we do smile a little brighter when we see them!
The changing colours of autumn is always such a treat. Like a paintbrush came and coloured the world. One of my favorite trees around the neighbourhood turns a brilliant purple in the fall, and is so beautiful against the blue sky. So while some may find this a wintry inspiration, to me a bit of regal purple and a touch of sky and earth will always be fall. Follow the colour pattern, or take your inspiration from the graphic, either way it's sure to be lovely! We can't wait to see what you create!
I went with a water coloured version of the inspiration colours with a touch of gold on my embossed flowers. I just love this quote from the new Kindness Matters set, "Be Kind and Brave, that's all you ever need to be." isn't that the truth!

Ever Thanks ~ Curtain Call Inspiration Challenge
EEK!! It's September!! How did this happen?! Sorry for all the screaming, but these are the frantic, desperate cries of a teacher a few days before school starts. However, I was up for today's Curtain Call Inspiration Challenge because teacher cards are one of my most favourite to make. This time we’re inspired by this photo…
When our local scrapbook store closed in June (the owner moved out of town), I grabbed all the 12 x 12 sheets of this primary printing paper by Doodlebug Designs. It will never go out of style and is the perfect background for any teacher card. I had this apple die cut from a shaker card I made for my BIL's retirement and thought it would be perfect for this challenge.
Want to play along? Head over to the Curtain Call blog for more inspiration and then join in the fun! Thanks for stopping by!
