Happy Birthday ~ PTI Create Along with Us

Hello!  Oh, it feels good to be back home after being away all last week.  I am slowly plugging away at my summer to-do list.  It feels good, but I’m wondering why I feel so busy still!?  LOL Perhaps it’s the lazy mornings ;)  I was so happy to see a new PTI challenge during release week.  I really miss the Make it Mondays during release week so here’s the answer!  Create Along with Us let’s us create something inspired by the release week samples.  I think the real challenge is to narrow it down!  So much inspiration!  I let Dawn McVey make the decision for me with this beauty…

I used the layout but used her Bloomers set from last month’s release along with the Frilly Flower leaves.  I also made it in pink!

Eight Years Down!

Hello friends!  Today the DH and I are celebrating our 8th Anniversary…I know, it’s not a HUGE number like 15, 20, or 40, but each year, actually, each day means so much to us.  I love making our anniversary card and it’s even better if I can incorporate the day (07-07-07) or year like I did in this one.  Masculine enough?  The doily is for me! HA!  I love this paper as aqua and chartreuse were 2 of our wedding colours (along with periwinkle).  I’ll leave you with a photo from that beautiful day…

Happy Friday friends!  It’s been a crazy week as I come down from finishing the school year AND finishing my Masters.  Yes, I am done! DONE!  Nothing more to do except clean up the dining room table (my workspace for 2 years) and file all my assignments and syllabuses away.  AND read something for fun!  I’ve borrowed the Rosie Project for the first read :)

To celebrate the Curtain Call's third anniversary, the Celebrate challenge will run the entire month of July!  The LEAD of this challenge will be invited as a Guest Designer in a future challenge!

Leave it to this Canadian to see balloons and think of maple leaves!  It’s not hard to do when it’s Canada Day!  It wouldn’t be July 1st here on the blog without some reference to the country I love :)  I am celebrating for so many reasons today.  You see, I’m done, Done, DOne, DONe, DONE my Masters!  I presented my capstone paper and did my oral exam yesterday and I can’t believe I’m DONE!  Plus I just started my 2 month holiday!  Wow!  What will I do with all my time!?  Clean the studio and get back to some serious card making!  LOL  But today I am celebrating Canada, my Masters, my holidays, and the 3rd Anniversary of the Curtain Call Inspiration Challenge!
