Happy Hump Day everyone!  Up today is another card I made for the Verve release last month, using Rain or Shine.  I must say the cards I made with this set were a big hit last week when I took them into work to sell.  I can totally see why…they are so sweet and friendly, sure to put a smile on someone’s face :)  I’ve been loving all the tilted panels I’ve seen on the blogs out there…totally cool so I had to try!  I hope your day is sunny!  Thanks for stopping by!

It’s October and that means I’ll be taking my class to the Pumpkin Patch in a few weeks.  It’s a gorgeous farm just outside of town with sheep to feed, a hayride, a pumpkin patch and a gorgeous shoreline along the river with eagles all over!  The owners are so sweet and I always add my own card in with the thank you letters my kids will write :)  Enjoy the rest of the hop AND the shopping!  LOL

A Whole Lot of Merry

Hi friends!  Well, the week is whipping right along.  My month is full of work, field trips, a wedding, homework and classes.  Though October is a long month, I think it’s going to fly by!  Today’s card is for the new Festive Friday Challenge. This time we are asked to a star element.

I’ve used a gorgeous chipboard star underneath the button on the felt poinsettia…a little unexpected and a whole lot of adorable!  Notice those kraft leaves with the cool writing?  Yep, those were cut from last year’s Starbucks Christmas sleeves!  Can’t wait for the new ones this year!  Thanks for stopping by and have a fantastic day!

Every Leaf Speaks Bliss to Me

Good (Monday) morning everyone!  Hmm, can we really put “good” and “Monday” together?  LOL  If there is no staff meeting today then we can!  Woohoo!  I have been dying to use my new PTI Mighty Oak stamps and die since they arrived a week ago.  I love all the verses in this set :)  My inspiration comes from the current Tuesday Trigger over on the Moxie Fab World blog…

I’ve used a bronze metallic paper for the leaves to mimic the ones in the photo AND pulled out some resin flowers as well!  All on a cream background, YUM :)  I hope your Fall has been lovely so far…thanks for visiting!
