Happy, Happy, Happy

Good morning, dear friends :)  Sometimes when it's a {staff meeting} Monday, I try to convince myself that it will be a good day and the meeting won't go very long.  I thought this was the perfect card to help me with this challenge :)  Just playing around with some ribbon, buttons and different sentiment placement.  How could I not be happy all day looking at this card?  I hope you are feeling Happy, Happy, Happy today too and if not, maybe my little card will help change that, even for a moment :)  It's Verve release week so there will be fun challenges all week with lots of prizes (check either their forum or the blog ):)  Have a glorious Monday!! {see, I'm so positive!! LOL}

What's in it?
Stamps: PTI Top Ten
Ink: SU choc chip
Paper: PTI summer sunrise, scarlett jewel, cream, autumn abundance dp
Accessories: PTI buttons, ribbon, SU linen thread, corner rounder and scallop punch, stitching

Happy Monday to you too Maureen! I love the double ribbon. You always know the right places to add ribbon. I'm still clueless. Great use of scarlet jewel too.

Ooh, I love how you highlighted the Scarlett Jewel from the dp. It really "calms" to polka dots and grounds them a bit. Love the double ribbon as well. I never ever think of doing that when I'm making a card, but maybe I should. :)

Here's hoping your staff meeting went short today! Ours was cancelled last week (we were devestated, lol). We had our RIF hearing for all of those pink slipped today. The best part was that we finished up around 12:30 and got to go home since there were subs in our rooms! So much fun to have a little extra time to tackle those Verve challenges! I love the colors Julee created everything with!

Did you get any new PTI goodies at their release last weekend? I got Dawn's new woodgrain set. I've never really thought of myself as a woodgrain person, but I loved everything she made with it!

That scarlet jewel is my fave of the PTI colors - and sadly, my ribbon is just sitting there unloved despite my big plans of cream & scarlet glory. You've got me inspired with your beautiful card. Now can I leave work to get it started?!
