Happy Mother's Day ~ Mojo Monday
Good morning!! Today's card uses this week's Mojo Monday sketch. I found this paper during a big rummage this weekend and thought it would be perfect for another Mother's Day card. Even though it's 2 year old paper...I just love it!! The aqua petals are a very close match to Hawaiian Shore or Burmuda Bay :) The rust strip at the top is embossed with the textile texture cuttlebug folder. Hardly any stamping on this one...I find this makes a card come together faster, well, sometimes!! Hope your week is going well...thanks for sharing a few minutes with me :)
What's in it?
Stamps: PTI blooming button bits
Ink: versafine onyx
Paper: PTI cream, SU burmuda bay, really rust, My Mind's Eye dp
Accessories: prima flowers, brad, American Crafts ribbon, cuttlebug ef, fiskars border punch
Labels:
Mojo Monday,
Mother's Day

Gorgeous work, Maureen! Love the paper and flower - and the way your ribbon is perfect as always! That textured rust is a perfect addition!
Lettin that paper do the talkin' I see! What fabulous talkin' it's doing as well - so bold and bright!
Hope your week is going well - we're nearly at the weekend (3 days off for us!)

Yup,that is Maureen DP :D I can't look at aqua anywhere now without thinking of you LOL! Love how you used the textile EF for the tabs for a little extra something. Hoping to be able to get to this sketch this week....maybe on Sunday as I'm recovering from cooking for the youth at their retreat at the church this weekend. I need a trip to Exile Island LOL!
Lovely job with the sketch Maureen. And hardly any stamping. I like the texture on your tabs border and the prima flowers.
Great DP and the flower echoes it nicely. I have those pearl brads - aren't they great?
The sketch is great and I hope to get to it.
