Verve's Beach Party

Hey everyone!!  It's Verve release week and it's a Beach Party!!! Woohooo!!! With the sunshine we've been having in south central B.C., this is perfect timing :)  Julee has created 5 challenges for us leading up to the release this Friday...and there are always lots of chances to win.  Many of you who follow my blog know that I've been touched with Verve gold many times...I've counted about 7...eek!!! So each time now, I think I've used up all my Verve luck...but I still love to play and will purchase these stamps no matter what :)  I've been hooked on these Heather Nichols library cards so here it another one.  I need to print out more :)  I took some liberty with the sketch...using the prima for the partial circle and not having my sentiment panel go all the way to the top...but that's just what was flowing last night so I went with it :)  The staff meeting didn't go too long last night so I was able to get home at a reasonable hour and stamp while it was still light out...love that...it's my best time to stamp.  Have a lovely Tuesday and if you can, stop by the Verve forum and join in the fun :)
What's in it?
Stamps: Verve feel the sun
Ink: SU choc chip
Paper: SU blush blossom, choc chip, PTI cream, cosmo cricket dp
Accessories: stitching, heather nichols library card image, corner chomper, prima flower, PTI button, floss, gemstones, cuttlebug ef, ek success border punch

Yay for the beach party! I wish I was going to be home to partake. I'm always envious of your Verve luck, but you really do such amazing work in promoting them that it's no wonder you're a winner ;) Great take on the sketch (as usual) Your perfect use of the library card, prima and bling....it's so you!

These Verve sketches are killing me - too many panels! What can I say, I'm a simple type of stamping gal LOL! After pondering this sketch on and off yesterday I think I have a solution. Don't think I' ll be able to get to all of them this week because we have our school Spring Fair on Friday and there is lots of prep to do as well as cake baking for the cake walk etc. Add to that a ton of MDay cards I need to make and my cup is full to overflowing! I'm even two Verve sketches behind - ugh!

Love your take on the sketch. The flower is the perfect filler for that quarter circle and I simply love that sentiment! Glad staff meeting didn't drag on and you were able to enjoy some stamping time.

I see the lure of Copics has drawn you in LOL! I have avoided them like the plague mainly due to cost and the fear of falling in love with them LOL! Your taking a class idea sounds wonderful :D Would love to put a real live body to that smiling face I see on your blog picture every day!! Let's keep in touch about it - could be a fabulously fun day :D If you are coming down solo you are welcome to stay with us as we are only 15 minutes away from PM. Have a great day and can you send some of your Verve gold touch my way, pleeeease LOL!

I love your take on this sketch. I finished my last night and also used it for the colour challenge. Those library cards do look like fun.
