With Love from Me to You

Good morning!! I'm back from a wonderful weekend of rest, fun, cardmaking, and Easter celebrations :)  Now it's a short week and my Papertrey Ink order is in town waiting for me to pick it up :)  New toys are always fun!  Today's card is for Karen's Sweet Sunday Sketch.  I stretched it out a bit to make a regular A2 card.  I've been wanting to use these sweet Verve tulips and what better time than now :)  I'm also always inspired by how my good blog friend, Kristina, uses Cosmo Cricket patterned paper so I thought I'd try and channel her a bit here :)  Have a lovely Tuesday :)

What's in it?
Stamps: Verve floral symphony, feeling groovy
Ink: SU choc chip, kiwi kiss, black
Paper: PTI cream, kraft, SU tangerine, kiwi kiss, pomegranate, curry; Cosmo Cricket dp
Accessories: grosgrain, circle nestabilities, prima flower, brad

Love those tulips and the colours you used. Darling little kraft sentiment panel too. Can't wait to be able to get to this sketch.

Beautiful way to use those tulips! What a perfect example of using some print paper for a great combination. Awesome color combination, Maureen!

That dp is absolutely perfect with that little Verve-y flower! I was organizing my Verve stamps yesterday (finally moving them into a binder and out of a drawer... which wouldn't close anymore!) and stumbled across this set... Such a great one! I love how that horizontal dp almost looks like little strips of ribbon tacked together.

I'm off to Disneyland later today! It will probably be incredibly crowded (spring breaks), but still fun!
