Joy to You

 Good evening!!! Yes, it's late and I should be in bed!!!  For some reason, I've been more than wiped out these past few days.  So tonight's post is for today and tomorrow :)  This card is for the third sketch challenge over on the Verve forum.  As luck would have it, my Verve order came yesterday...the very day my reports were fully done...including proof reading and editing. Is that perfect timing or what?  I knew one of the "Joy" sentiments was the first to be inked up; it's one of my favourite words in our language.  I made sure it was on our wedding invitations 3 years ago..."It is with great joy that we, Maureen and Tony...."  Ah, I just love it!! TGIF tomorrow...sweet dreams :)

what's in it?
stamps: verve merry wishes, glad tidings, vintage oval frame
ink: pti sweet blush, versafine onyx, su baroque burgundy
paper: pti scarlett jewel, cream, sweet blush, bitty box basics and distressed dots dps; basicgrey dp;
accessories: pearls, gemstones, ms border punch, pti limitless layer die; verve vintage oval frame; long nestabilities, ribbon, cuttlebug ef

Maureen, how in the world do you combine so much DSP and make it look so fabulous! I always admire your cards and try to replicate them. Love that BG and PTI paper!! Happy Friday!

I'm with Lynn...it blows my mind how you can combine so many papers and make it work. I end up with a cluster of disaster =)

Absolutely LOVE that new Verve and your bits of bling and ribbon!

Lovely traditional pop of color with the ribbon. I'm three sketches behind and counting this month LOL! Hoping your day ends better than it began :)

Ahhh Joy to having those reports proof read and done and Joy to the weekend!!! Joy for my eyes to look at this card too, Diva! I would have NEVER put a blue ribbon across the centre but it brings the whole card together! I need to turn to you when I come to ribbon!
Hugs,
Aimes

Love the card, Maureen. You are such a master at combining patterned papers, multiple layers, and making it all look good! So -- how were the fried pickles? Did they add any JOY to your evening? :) Hope you're enJOYing your Saturday! (I like that word, too...)

Lovin' the eskimo kisses!! I've actually managed to use quite a bit making my christmas cards this year. They're almost done.

Fantastic bow.
