Another Irish Blessing!

St. Pat’s Fact: His mission in Ireland lasted for thirty years. After that time, Patrick retired to County Down. Patrick is thought to have died sometime around 461AD, on March 17th.

Edited to add:  a sweet blog visitor, Nancy, let me know that this card fulfills the Papertrey  Ink Paper Dolls challenge requirement this week :)  Thanks, Nancy!!  The challenge is to have something with P, T, I in your project…Nancy noticed  I have Patterned Paper, Triangles, and Ink!!  Then my fabulous blog buddy, Aimes, let me know that this card would also work for her Passion for Papertrey paper piecing challenge AND the Moxie Fab World Paper Piecing Challenge.

Hi everyone!!  Today’s card is one I’ve been dying to make for awhile.  I got the PTI banner dies AGES ago and just never have had the chance to use them.  I’ve been looking around and seeing what others have done with them and finally sat down on the weekend to play a bit.  After reading this Irish blessing, I thought I would make it a rainbow banner.  It was fun to pick out colours from my dp stash :)  Pretty CAS, but I think very effective.  No challenge today…I’m sure I could find one to fit this card…do you know one?  Let me know and I’ll put it in! LOL  Have a great day and make sure you come back tomorrow!! It’s my sketch debut over on the Verve Forum!!!  Yikes!!  Don’ be looking for a CAS card tomorrow…think loud, bold and clashing!! LOL  See you then :)

Are you going to be joining the Diva Dark side too....LOL! I'm two sketches behind already so we'll see if I just throw in the towel and skip this month or not.

Total cuteness girl!! Love those banners. Perfect assortment of pattern papers for each color! I haven't tackled banners yet, but with the cutie SB dies coming out it's only a matter of time.

I visit often, but neglect to leave comments each time. Although a bit simpler than many of your cards, this one still showcases your creative approach. The rainbow banner is fabulous with the blessing.
This card actually fits a challenge the Paper Dolls are hosting (http://papertreypaperdolls.blogspot.com/2011/03/papertrey-ink-paper-dolls-blog-hop-and.html). The project has to have items beginning with a P, T and I. You make it with patterned paper, triangles and ink. A $25 PTI GC is up for grabs. Looking forward to seeing your sketch.

Love this card! It's so fresh and springy. Your banner is adorable! I haven't had a chance to use this set yet either. I think it's about time I did. Thanks for the inspiration! So glad you linked to the Paper Dolls Challenge. Good luck!
