39 and Fabulous!

39fabulous

Good morning!  Today’s card is a fun little number…oh, yes, pun intended! lol  On Wednesday, I was sitting in the staff room eating lunch when I checked the staff birthday list…our secretary’s was the next day!!  So I sat down that night and made this cute little card using colour inspiration from The Shabby Tea Room.  Okay, now I remember why I bought this doily die even though there are a million holes to punch out…you can make them in any colour, even with patterned paper!!  I love that!!  Along with pastel colours, the challenge was to also use stripes.  There they are on the doily!! Too cool :)  Now, our secretary is not quite “39,” but she appreciated the sparkly numbers of a very good year :)  lol  Thanks for visiting!! Have a wonderful Saturday :)

Love the sparkly numbers and pop of blue with the bow :) I think punching those little bits out of that doily die would drive me nuts LOL, but the outcome is worth it.

We have sunshine again today but it's still nippy out. Saw lots of people out with shorts and flip flops on yesterday but they also had some goosebumps LOL! Nothing like trying to will the warm weather to come :) Enjoy the rest of your long weekend.
