When I create a card, I lay out the paper, die cuts and stamps onto the card and play around with all the elements. I had my little Verve “miss” stamp on the “U” die and then LOST it!! I was frantically looking for it for about 20 minutes, then found it in my scrap paper pile, phew!! (I’m sure I’m not the only one who loses clear stamps!!). So then I get my paper and dies ready to cut in the cuttlebug. I run the second shape through and it’s a tighter fit than the first cut….because my “miss’ stamp WAS STUCK TO THE PAPER I WAS CUTTING!! And this is what is left of my sweet little “miss” stamp. I hadn’t stamped it yet, so I went to my Word program and searched for the closest font I could find to print the “miss” out. But I’m so sad because it’s the first stamp that I’ve wrecked. I’ve lost LOTS of them but, after retracing my movements, always find them again. Oh well…it really is a little thing in the big scheme of life, eh?
Okay, lazy morning over…time to get dressed and head to the gym!! Have a wonderful day…come back tomorrow for some CASE Study inspiration :)

Oh no, what a bummer! I haven't wrecked any stamps yet, but I did lose a cute script "hello" from a PTI set last spring and have never found it. How clever of you to print out the "miss"ing word!
Love your take on this week's colors and the fact that you included the aqua! The fun polka dotted flower is my favorite part. So glad you could play along again this week!
AAHHH! That is such a bummer! I haven't ruined any stamps, but I lost a Mr. & Mrs. last week...can't find it anywhere! I'm loving all those big polka dots on the background...and I came very close to buying the edger dies this month. I'm sure they are eventually going to make it into my cart!
Poor little stamp....I tore one of Verve stamps a few years back when taking it off the acetate...thankfully not one I would use that often, but it still leaves a sick feeling in your tummy.
Card is fabulous. Love the polka dots in the BG and on the flower and the pop of red is perfect. Great card.
Thanks for the FB help :) Silly me in on networked blogs and just never knew how to make the link. Did it both ways yesterday and both worked so I'm moving along in the learning curve LOL
Ah man! Stamping tragedies are very sad. I wonder if there is a defective set with Julee and you can get the "miss" stamp from it? Anyway, your solution was pretty clever! Cute card girl!! Hugs.
Fun card, Maureen! Bummer about your stamp, but the computer generated one works! Thanks for joining us at the ColourQ this week.
ARGH!!!!!!!! OH NO!!!!! What are you like, eh?! Now that's exactly something that I'd do..! I've lost loads of stamps, some are still MIA after getting replacements (can Verve replace single stamps? PTI do...maybe use some of your Diva style to sweet talk Julie LOL!)
Well at least your determined spirit meant that you crafted on - with or without the stamp - to produce a fabulous card! Cool layout and tip with the dies - might have to try that out myself this crafty, Sunday afternoon...
Hugs,
Duchess

Sorry about your "miss"hap....I am missing the cutest little PTI snowflake! :(
Well, your sweet card makes up for the sadness! So fun! Thanks for playing with the CQC!
LOVE the way you used the colors!!!
I lost my acrylic block for about a month, searched everywhere, went to the NEC n bought a new one and the same day found my old one perched precariously on top of my scraps folder! Just sitting there looking at me! Who decided so many things should be see-thru?!
Don't feel too badly. I have lost/misplaced TWO of the three doilie diecuts from PTI. i have looked everywhere, and they are GONE. What a huge bummer. I feel your pain.
