A True Love Story Never Ends

lovestorygydosept
Good morning!! Well, I survived the first short week back to work, let’s see how I do with the first full week!! Check back Friday…lol.  Today’s lovely card is for this month’s Get Your Diva On over on the Verve Forum.  Create a project using this month’s challenge and you could be an upcoming Verve Guest Diva!!  Wahoooo!!  This month, Diva Sankari is challenging us to create a monochromatic card or project.  I knew right away I wanted to make a wedding/anniversary card with various shades of white/cream/sand.  When using a monochromatic palette, I find you have to create texture to add dimension and interest.  I think I’ve done that!! LOL  I’ve loaded on the doily, lace, twine, pins, dove, gems, button, border punch, stitching, felt heart…you name it, I’ve got it on this one little card!!  Definitely a bubble envelope or glassine bag type of card!!  I paired a 4th AnniVERVEsary stamp, Love Story, with the latest 5th AnniVERVEsary curvy bookplate frame and matching die…a match made in heaven!!  Have a glorious day and I do hope you’ll play with this month’s Get Your Diva On!!  Hugs!! (p.s. this card also fits the criteria for the Bring Back Beautiful challenge over on the Flourishes blog).

Seriously Moe! Where to start? Your card is beautiful. I love the dove. And yum on the Sahara Sand. I think you need to frame this for your new studio since it will match perfectly!
