St. Pat’s Fact: The phrase, "Drowning The Shamrock" is from the custom of floating the shamrock on the top of whiskey before drinking it. The Irish believe that if you keep the custom, then you will have a prosperous year. I wonder if martinis would work instead? LOL
Woohoo! It’s Friday! It’s been an extremely emotional week at work and I’m needing the weekend to recharge and regroup. Nothing better than a little inky time and the new Viva La Verve sketch to cheer a girl up :) Today I went totally girlie, girlie!! I’ve used this sweet sentiment from Verve’s Sunny Days as well as the Loopy Blooms dies to create this felt flower. This stamp set and these dies are all on SALE over in the Verve Store this month!! Check them out and then join us over on the Viva La Verve forum for some more eye candy :) Hope your weekend is starting out right :) Hugs and thanks for all the support this week. I love to hear that you all love teachers :) Me too!! LOL
