Good morning! It’s June 25th! That means that it’s the last week of work (woohoo!), the PTI Blog Hop, my sister’s birthday AND the lovely Miss Dawn’s birthday!! I remember making her birthday card for the last June blog hop AND getting to deliver it in person at Stamp-a-faire in July :) It’s hard to believe it’s been a year! The colours and embellishments were inspired by the blog hop photo…
I tried my hand at paper pleating on the green damask panel. I’m not a technique girl so this was a stretch for me. I zigzagged the pleats down with yellow thread. I’ve been on a dress form kick this month! For some reason I felt it should be on this card too…and appropriate for the occasion of Dawn’s birthday as it’s her stamp and die! And because she is such an inspiration to me, I had to add the sentiment on the banner :) Happy birthday, Dawn!
