Your Loving Kindness

psalm63plainjane

Good morning!  Today’s card was actually made back in January during the Verve New Stamps Release! Though it’s in my Verve Gallery, I have not shared it officially here on the blog.  I like to save a few cards to share when it’s going to be a busy week and that week starts now!  LOL  Year end activities, special cards to make AND report card writing will be the main focus this week…then it will be back to more “play time.”  A little ying with the yang, right?  This was the Verve Psalm 63:3-4 Plain Jane that was released in April and it so happened that this was the perfect card to send our former neighbours last month as a little thank you for watching our old door step for misdirected parcels!! LOL  I guess they recognized the size and shape of my regular small packages and knew they were mine and not the new owners!! LOL  They were such great neighbours too, always keeping an eye on things, always there with a cheerful hello and sharing their talents at our wedding…she played the Celtic harp for us during the ceremony :)  Good neighbours are golden, wouldn’t you agree?  Have a fabulous week and I’ll try to pop in now and then with a “sanity” card! LOL  TTYS!

I just love the colors, the soft blues, and then that bright striking blue bow and the brown butterfly. You know how to use your colors!

Good neighbours make such a difference. We still keep in touch and visit them when we are on the Island - they are such good friends and like a young set of grandparents for the kids :) Plus we got our cat from the ones on the other side :)

Love the way you framed the sentiment and tucked the larger butterfly behind it with the smaller one on top.

Good luck writing report cards - have a ton of teacher friends int he same boat right now. Just think, it's the last set for a while and only 3 weeks till you'll be able to enjoy coffee on the deck every morning :)

Ohhh... Just think you'll be relaxing in the studio or on the deck shortly!!! Totally jealous! Love this card! That Plain Jane fits perfectly and love the kraft butterflies with one tucked behind! Thought of you today....Ikea craft room run!!! I've been using makeshift tables and finally got it all worked out!

I'm sure your former neighbors love this! Beautiful colors and love that ribbon and bow. Great design too, and the verses are ones we used to sing at church when I was a little girl so I love it!

Good neighbors?! What are those?! :) Sounds like you had lovely ones, though...I hope your new ones will be fantastic, too. Those butterflies are fabulous...they look like wood, not cardboard. I love the color combination of this card, Moe!
