Good morning dear blog friends! I have a special treat for you! Last winter (yes, winter!), My Memories contacted me about trying out their digital scrapbooking program. I was in the middle of the BIG move into the new house, so postponed until now :) I so wanted to learn a bit more about digital programs and dip my big toe into the pool of digital scrapbooking and card making. I have to laugh, they picked the right person. If I can figure it out, anyone can! The downloading was easy breezy and when I had a question about downloading extra files, a very nice and helpful man emailed me with VERY good directions complete with pictures :) They also have a TON of helpful videos on YouTube HERE! This is the first one I watched…
I’m a visual learner, I have to SEE something in action before I understand it. So these videos are perfect for me!
Now, I scrapbook, but only for special occasions. However, when I browsed some of their Freebie wedding papers, I broke out the wedding pictures again! Here are 3 pages I made in no time flat! I’m also in the process of making an album with the song from our first dance playing. What a great gift for families! This first page already had the title “Unforgettable,” but I added the date of our wedding :)
I love the look of black and white photos. These ones above and below, however, were colour ones. You can easily change the colour of your photos to suit the mood of the page. The page below was too brown for black and white, so I changed it to sepia with one easy click!
This last one I left in full colour…my son and I just before we left for the church :) Oh, I treasure this photo!

Gorgoeus layouts!
Great pages, Moe!! Love them. Way to go digital :) I thought the
Calendar 2011 had some great layouts/images and I have always wanted to make a calendar for family as gifts.
Swimming lessons are over, both kids passed and we are one tired out bunch today LOL! Must admit, I'll miss swimming the laps - it's great exercise!!
These are beautiful! Good for you for taking out the wedding photos AND for learning the software program!
Your wedding photos are absolutely gorgeous and the work you have done with them using My Memories does the lovely images justice! It is impressive that the pages look so great and that the software is user friendly. I looked at the kits and liked several. The family heritage is my favorite!
The Guess What Chicken Butt kit looks too fun ... lots of great designs ... thanks for the chance to win.
Looks like fun, and I'd love printing my own patterned paper.
You did a great job of these pages, Moe! Lovely work :)
Love your wedding layouts Maureen...I am getting ready to do a wedding book for my son and new daughter in law. I do love She Said Yes kit in the store. I would love to learn how to use digital scrapbooking in my layouts.
As a genealogist family history is appealing to me. What lovely wedding layouts.
