Papertrey Ink Camp Card Set Challenge

IMG_5589

Good evening!  I was busy for a good part of today, but managed to come home and make the last 2 challenges for Papertrey Ink’s Summer Camp Stamp-a-faire.  What a stamping marathon! Whew!  These cards are for the Camp Card Set Challenge.  I watched most of the videos on making different kind of card sets then fashioned mine after Betsy’s.  I loved using the edgers die to create a little more visual interest.  I then used my Pretty Peonies to stamp right on the cards, then used the dies to create one solid peony to pop off in the middle of the outlined ones.  The large sentiments are from Giga Guidelines.  I used “thank-you” and “just because” to make 5 cards :)  I didn’t have a brown paper bag at home (they are back in my classroom!) to make Betsy’s card sack,so I simply tied a satin ribbon and bow with a little tag.

Just had to Pin these beauties! The decorative edge with the strip of patterned paper behind it looks amazing. Gorgeous stamping, too! Love the combination of open line and solid images.
