Good morning! Today’s card is for the monthly Waltzingmouse Stamps Blog Hop. The challenge this month is to be inspired by the outdoors…so I went out to the old West. I can’t begin to tell you how much fun I had making this card for my dad. His birthday is coming up at the beginning of September and I’m feeling pretty smug having it made already! I so wanted to use this fun WANTED stamp from my favourite Back in the Saddle set. So I took the picture of dad I showed HERE on this POST, resized it to fit inside the stamp frame, turned it into black and white, then printed it onto cardstock. Then I stamped the poster image over it. Here’s the card below with a book I’ll be giving dad. It’s written by a local author about her dad. She had a book signing a couple of weeks ago so I went to buy it and get it signed. Dad loves to read stories about BC and horses and know doubt will know many people in the book.

ACK, how awesome is THIS? Well, it's SO AWESOME, Maureen! Your dad will click up his cowboy boots at the sight of it! Brilliant stamping in the background, looks like patterned paper that came that way! The canvas start is gorgeous. This is probably the most spectacular masculine card I have ever seen!!!
