Good morning! Well, Monday is back to being lower down on my favourite days list ;) It’s my first full week of work after spending half my weekend in classes and we have a staff meeting after school. No rest for the wicked :) I got home Saturday late afternoon…went into my classroom for a bit after my Masters class… and though I really wanted a nap, decided I should go into the studio for a bit :) So this is my first card after starting my Masters and being back at work…and being a little more than exhausted. Nothing new, one of my go-to layouts, but when I went to edit the photo, I noticed the wreath bows upside down! ACK! I was hoping that was part of the pattern, but it wasn’t. I thought of tearing it apart and repositioning, but I just didn’t have it in me to re-tape and re-adhere everything. So here it is, my “Peace” card for the Festive Friday Challenge…not quite as “peaceful” as I’d have liked it, but there it is… I think it’s time for that nap :) Have a great start to your week :) Thanks for stopping by :)

I love the patterned paper you used Moe...just soft and subtle colors combined with the silver and gold is gorgeous. Here's hoping the day absolutely zooms by for both of us! xoxo
Gorgeous patterned paper and all of your elements are beautiful. Great colours. Remember that the first two weeks of school are ALWAYS the hardest. Hang in there, congrats on starting your Masters!
Fabulous take on the insp. picture and just love the BG paper and sparkly peace. Sorry you are so exhausted ((hugs)). One day at a time and I'm sure you will find your groove soon enough :) As for the bow, no worries, been there done that! Wishing you a great first full week.
I think it's really pretty. You could stamp some of the bare wreaths the other way to make a random alternating pattern, or not:)
This is a classic story! I'm amazed you even have a minute to stamp, so totally understandable... ;). I say cut one out and pop it right on top of the boo-boo. Embellishments are the necessity of invention!
Pretty colours and lovely sparkle! Thanks for joining us at Festive Friday!
I hear ya - I am so exhausted because of the painting we've been doing for a week. I wouldn't worry about the paper - I didn't notice until you pointed it out!
You've got a grueling road ahead, but it's going to be so worth it - stay strong!
Thanks for playing, as always, friend!!!
Quit telling your secrets, Maureen!!! I had to search and search to see what wreath bow you were talking about!!! It's a beautiful card, so not to worry! Thanks so much for making time for us at Festive Friday!!! Wonder if your family and friends have any idea of what loveliness they have to look forward to in their mailboxes this Christmas!!!
Beautiful! I love that sparkly "peace". And I didn't notice the bows until I read what you wrote, but even after you pointed it out, it doesn't bother me at all....your card is still lovely regardless!
Very pretty. Great card.
