Verve May Diva Inspirations Blog Hop

It's the 5th of the month and time for the Verve Divas to bring you our monthly Diva Inspirations Challenge and Blog Hop! There are two ways to win Verve prizes: comment on the design team's blog hop posts (linked below) to see their take on the inspiration, then go get inky and link up your take on the challenge to be eligible in our prize drawings!

Our May challenge is Let it Bloom

Florals are always fashionable. Let your creativity bloom and use some fabulous florals on your card. Use the inspiration graphic as a starting point, or head off in your own direction – just show us some blooms!

Well, today being May 5th and Teacher Day, I thought it only fitting to make a teacher card!  However, keeping with the Inspiration Challenge, I added a little Doodled Occasions bloom to the Teachers Count apple bunch and some floral paper!  And not to sound self serving, but I'd like to send out a HUGE thank you to all the teachers who love and inspire our children each and every day!  It truly is the best job in the world :)  Now for the details of the challenge...

Click here to link up your challenge entries

Challenge deadline: Sunday, May 20.
Prize: $25 gift voucher to the Verve online store!

Need a little inspiration? Check out the blogs linked below to see what the other Divas did with the challenge! It's sure to be a treat, and speaking of treats, we've got a prize for one lucky commenter along the hop! Check out the Verve Blog today for all the prize info and deadlines!

I have to say 1st, I too am a St. Patrick's Day baby (my mom always called it St. Peggie's Day). How fun is that.... Anyhoo, I love your card. I like how the banner is a chalkboard and how the flowers just fit right in making for a wonderfully pretty card.

Love the focal cluster and of course, your wonderful chalkboard. Met with my kids' Socials Studies teacher this year and he is an amazing guy. Highlight of dinner is hearing about a Mr T story. He works them hard, but makes learning so much fun they have no clue how hard they are working. My daughter wants to be a teacher like him :)

Maureen, Your cards and so beautiful and full, just like your soul! Teachers have a very tough job. I love my kids (now 29 and 25) and loved snow days, but I was always ready for them to go back to school. I feel a lot of people send their kids to school, so our teachers can raise them. So, my hat is off to you, for enjoying your job so much. I love howoftenyou have used these apples and they look different every time. I won this set from you quite some time back and I use the sentiments often on my projects, but I never thougt of using those apple in so many different shades of ink! Thank you for Teaching Me to extend my traditional boundaries. ((Crafty Hugs)) Paulette S.
