Verve Stamps is having their Project Parade going on right now and the theme this month is divine details. You have to talk about the process you go through while creating a card. Whew! That's hard! It depends... sometimes it's a sketch I start with or a stamp or paper or a colour combo. So I'll stick with what happened while making this card. I knew I wanted to use my new Kindred Spirits set and that I wanted to stamp raspberry fizz ink on kraft paper. So I started stamping and then playing with paper colours. I had a top note cut out in dp sitting on my table for ages waiting for the right project and here it was. I didn't adhere anything down as I like to play around with the layout. Once I liked how everything looked, I added stitching and then started gluing things down. Then onto the accessories! One of my favourite parts! I love all the possibilites! This card called for ribbon, bling, a butterfly (you'll notice I like to add these or buttons to my knots), and some dritz pins. I searched in the Verve Gallery to see how the divas used the oval image of this set to help me give it dimension. And voila, in a nutshell, that was what I did.

Very pretty! I just LOVE raspberry fizz! I also just made a card and put the butterfly on the knot, I think it just gives it a finished look! :)
I love this card!!! If you keep it up like this, your cards will get published in no time. The little butterfly is adorable.

Oh Maureen, this is gorgeous! I might actually have to try some Raspberry Fizz on cardstock because it really looks pretty! That big, beautiful ribbon is the perfect finishing touch.
