Hope and a Future

Happy Tuesday, dear friends.  It's the first Monday of the month which means Julee is giving away some delicious Verve prizes over at the Mojo Monday blog :)  When I saw this sketch, I envisioned a white card with colour in the middle.  I knew I wanted to use my new Jeremiah sentiment so that took care of the sentiment...then I went through my scrap bag to find some beautiful and serene paper....PTI pretty pastels.  I hadn't inked my new One Person flowers yet (hey, I just got them Friday!! LOL) so I wanted to try them out.  The kraft panel is embossed, although hard to tell in this photo, so I needed a different look for the white card base.  I stamped a flourish in versamark and then embossed in white.  It adds a nice subtle texture. I hope you have a lovely day.  Thanks for dropping by.

What's in it?
stamps: verve jeremiah 29:11, one person; pti fancy flourishes
ink: versamark, stazon jet black, su perfect plum
paper: PTI white, plum pudding, kraft, pretty pastels dp, shimmer white
accessories: stitching, corner chomper, cuttlebug ef, white ep, pearls, satin ribbon

One of my favorite verses and you have framed it wonderfully, Maureen. Nice work with the side panel and I love the flourish in the BG. Have a great day :D

I panicked a bit when I saw this sketch, but you rocked it! I love that shimmery white cardstock every time you use it! I always stare at it with an utter loss of inspiration, hehe. And I love the pretty pastels squares!
