Hi everyone!!! Today's card is for the fifth and final Viva La Verve June sketch. After you complete all 5 sketches for the month, you post them on the Champions Thread for a chance to win the next Verve release. I was lucky to win it back in February and since then, my Verve luck has run out...not that I'm complaining...I have been very lucky over the past year and a half with winning. I chose the second inspiration photo...hola!!! Those colours and flowers just make me smile. I tried to mimic the look with my papers and blossom dies. The sentiment I'm using today is one close to my heart. When I've gone through difficult times, I tried to think that God had bigger plans for me and that they just hadn't happened yet. I've had one prayer answered this week. I've been trying to transfer from my present school to another one closer to the place where the dh and I have a lot that we'll build on next year. Well, I got the call Friday and I'm transferring!!! I move my classroom this week so it's a mad fury to collect boxes!! Though I will miss the kids and my colleagues there, I know I need a new challenge in my career....a new outlook, a chance to work with others and meet new people. And it won't hurt that I'm a 5 minute drive away to the new house once it's built :) What prayers have been answered for you? or are you still waiting (sometimes I've needed to pray for more patience!!! LOL). Have a wonderful Sunday....

Those colors are so bright and cheery! I love that embossed background as well. That's something I don't do enough of anymore. It might be time to dust off some of my embossing folders and plates...
Congrats on the move to the new school! It's always wonderful to have such a short commute! Will you be in the same grade next year or trying out a new one?
As for my blessing: I have a job! I'm not being laid-off!!! They sent me a letter in my box the very last week of school telling me to be ready to report for work the last week of August. Hooray!!! What a wonderful way to start the summer.
It's good to be home again (the wedding was wonderful!), and stamping. I'm off to cruise through the rest of your cards that I missed while away.
You've done a GREAT job with this inspiration picture, Maureen! I LOVE the first one because of the green but it is a bit more limiting. Will have to see what I come up with.
Enjoy your last three days!!! Happy moving and SO thrilled for you getting the position (((hugs))).
What an amazing job of this sketch. Those colors are perfect for the inspiration pic. Congrats on your new position!! EXCITING =) So much to celebrate!
Just beautiful, Maureen! Those flowers are PERFECT for this inspiration photo. Love it!
