Verve Stamps Spotlight ~ Day 3

smallestthings

Good morning friends!!!  I have the pleasure of showing you a sneak peak at the new Verve Plain Jane and the new set To the Moon, both of which will be released tomorrow night…see the details at the end of this post.  When I first saw this sentiment, I got a little misty eyed…I was back 22 years holding my baby for the first time :)  He was a just a little peanut at 5 lbs, 11ozs, definitely small, but took up my whole heart.  I love to keep baby cards sweet and simple, just like a new baby.  This next card was inspired by the the sentiment in the new To the Moon set.  How did Julee know that Jake and I used to say this each time I tucked him in and kissed him goodnight?  He would even add “and to Planet X and back a million times.”  {insert my melted heart here!}

tothemoon

I added the “xoxoheart” from Love Notes as that’s how I have always signed my cards or notes to Jake.  The red heart inspired the red “sweet little baby” text under the ribbon.

So are you ready to party?  Tomorrow, January 7, Verve is releasing this fabulous new set, plain jane and more!  And because a new release is something to celebrate, we’ve hidden a prize on one of the participating blogs each day! Just leave a little comment love as you hop around to be entered into a drawing to win that day’s featured stamps! Deadline for comment entries is 6PM Mountain Friday, January 7. Winners will be announced at our release party on Friday night!  Here is the master list for today…
