25 x 2 {looks good on you!}

 25times2

Good morning!!  Happy Groundhog Day and more importantly, Happy Birthday to the love of my life, Tony :)  My sweet, sexy husband is 25 times 2 today :) I met him when he was 44 and always thought, hmmmm….he really is like two 22 year olds, lucky me :)  And so the private joke stands.  I was thrilled to get my new PTI number dies which made it so easy to personalize this card the way I wanted.  I added the “x2” with my Fresh Alphabet set.  The sentiment is from the new Big Birthday Wishes and I love how it rhymes with the 25 x2 :)  A fun little story about Tony’s Groundhog Day birthday…when we were first dating we were coming out of the movies one night, talking about our favourite movies.  I told him one of my all time favourites was “Groundhog Day.”  Then he told me it was his birthday…meant to be, eh?  I want to leave you with one last picture.  This is the groundhog puppet I bought recently for my classroom.  Isn’t it the cutest?  And realistic?  lol  He’s been helping me read Groundhog Day stories all week :)  The kids love him (me too!)….anyways, I hope the Groundhog has NOT seen his shadow anywhere today…I am ready for SPRING!!  Have a great day!!

Winter, slumbering in the open air,

wears on its smiling face a dream of Spring.

Oh Maureen, I love this card!! Everthing from the colours to the layout to the rhyming sentiment!!
We have a snow day here today (YIPPEE!!!!), so I'm hoping to have some crafting time! We'll see how that works with a 4 and 1 year old at my heels?!?!

Great card, love the contrast of patterns. What grade do you teach? During my after recess read aloud to my students back in Hawaii, they loved to pick out which accent I would use for the story. That was my favorite time of the day. love your Groundhog

What a fun, sweet card for your man! I love the colors & that blue button!
Happy birthday, Tony! :

Ah, loving your quote, but spring truly is a dream here today. We had a blizzard yesterday...left us with 15" of snow & tons of blowing & drifting. My whole body is sore from shoveling!
