Thank You for All You Do

ssd90

Greetings, everyone!  Well, slowly but surely I am settling into my new digs…this card only took 1.5 hours to make ;)  I set up my desk area close to the same way I had it at the old house and my body really likes this :)  I went for a soft tone on tone look for this week’s Skipping Stones Design sketch :)  When you do this, I find it’s all about texture…the embossing, the rounded corners, the buttons…you get the idea.  I’m using the newly released Everyday Blessings set.  It is full of beautiful images along with sweet little sentiments.

Everyday Blessings

I stamped the swirly border three times along the bottom of my sentiment panel before stamping the sentiment.  I like the way it fills up the bottom of the circle.  Ah, and some bling always makes me smile :)  Want to play along and win a free stamp set?  Head over to the Skipping Stones Design blog for all the details.  Thanks for stopping by today…hugs!

The two oldest are off to school...one more to go this morning and then Marcel tomorrow for the first day of kindergarten! Collin just had his birthday breakfast...and you'll notice his birthday card is inspired by you. I love how you emboss your background panels - today's card is gorgeous...and I did a bit of that on his card today! Glad to hear your getting settled in your "temporary" studio!

Ooooh so crisp and clean with those white embossed panels, Diva! A totally fabulous take on the sketch with those scattered buttons (you say this took 1.5 hours. Was an hour of that time picking which buttons to feature?! I know it can take me ages to put my buttons through the audition process to see which will make the spotlight LOL!)
Hugs!

Lovely card!! The white on white with embossed panels and buttons is wonderful!! Flower and sentiment perfect!! I'm out of the house for a week for hardwoods-can't imagine 3 months!! Although you've set up an alternative spot to stamp, me, no room!! Can imagine going to grab something to use and no go.

That's such a beautiful example of the simple beauty of white on white! The buttons are perfect additions and that combination of rounded & squared corners is lovely =)

Love white on white with a pop of colour. Of course I'm loving the embossed dots and love how you usd the vine image on the focal panel. Glad you are getting into your groove a bit more :)
