(Take Note) You are Fabulous!

Good morning!  It’s a lovely Sunday morning and I’m looking forward to a fun day with my son.  He arrived last night and is surely sleeping soundly in the guest room at the time of this post :)  I was busy yesterday with DT cards, but wanted to sneak in a fun challenge.  The palette at ColourQ were just too yummy to pass up this week AND I had this gumball ribbon sitting on my desk, begging to be tied onto a card.  I’m thinking this will go to a colleague at some point this year (with a little box of chocolates, of course :)

Thanks for all the well wishes as I start a new school year.  The classroom is all set up and ready for my new students :)  As sad as it is to say goodbye to summer, I do look forward to all the exciting teaching ideas I have planned this year :)  AND lucky for me, the studio is close at hand :)  Have a great day!

p.s. Today is my dad’s 81st birthday and I’m SO excited that I finally get to give him this card (see original post HERE).  He’s coming for dinner and I’m making his favourite cake, Boston Cream, just like my mom used to do :)

Good luck with the new school year! I may have to start searching for some teaching blogs too!
