Always and Forever ~ WMS Blog Hop

alwaysandforevermaureenplut

Good morning!  I’m happy to say that I had enough time this week to play along with the Waltzingmouse Blog Hop!  Since they retired their Sketch Challenge, I’ve gone through a little WMS withdrawal so it was fun to crack open some of my favourite sets and get inky!  The challenge this month is doilies!  Woohoo!  Enter my new to me pack of vintage doilies I picked up at a second hand store a few weeks ago.  I folded it in half making a taco sandwich with some beautiful pink floral paper then stitched around the patterned paper.  I also added a sweet little crocheted flower that reminds me of a wee little doily :)  AND my card is sitting on a doily!  LOL  Thanks for stopping by!  Can’t wait to see all the gorgeous doily projects!  The next WMS hop will be on my Birthday!  Woohoo!

I love the beautiful, vintage vibe of this card. The crochet flower complements the doily perfectly! The patterned paper is gorgeous, too.
