Verve February Diva Inspirations Hop!

forthebirthdayboymaureenplut

Welcome to our February Diva Inspirations Hop!  Today the Divas are dusting off some Verve favorites and putting on our monthly hop to inspire you with a fresh new spin on the stamps in our stash! So grab a drink and hop along as we share a little Verve with you! There's a great little prize involved, too!  See below for more details :)

Today’s project is the card I made for my dh :)  His birthday was on Saturday (Groundhog Day) and we celebrated with a romantic weekend getaway :)  Stowed in my suitcase was this card :)  Now, the dh and I love to read before we go to bed and he complained one night that he didn’t have a nice bookmark like I had.  Mine is one I made YEARS ago, but I love it and it’s still in good shape :)  So I thought I’d make a sweet little book mark to add to his card.

The sentiment on the book mark is from Stronger Love.  I thought he’d love to see it every time he opens and closes his book :)  I added a few bits of bling to subtly remind him that his dw loves bling {wink, wink!}.  The banner flag is stamped with the coordinating Thatched Banner plain jane and then stamped with 2 sentiment stamps from Birthday Bash.  Did he love it?  Yes, it was a big hit!

So here are the blog hop details…a random commenter on one of the hops will win a $30 gift certificate to VERVE, so be sure to leave a little love in the comment section as you hop about! You can find out all the prize details over on the Verve Blog today.
