Happy weekend, friends! I had a small window of free time today so I filled my coffee cup and headed straight into the studio to make a card for this week's Papertrey Ink's Make it Monday challenge. We are to be inspired by the colour wheel. I had been thinking about this challenge all week and what shapes/images I could use for the colour wheel. I have been using the timeless Heart Prints set lately so I punched out 6 hearts and crossed my fingers they would fit perfectly around the sentiment circle...they DID! Oh my, I literally squealed! I didn't think this card needed any more embellishments, no twine, no sequins, I just wanted those beautiful coloured hearts to take center stage. Thanks for stopping by!

Maureen, I LOVE the hearts and they did fit beautifully in your circle. Have to look at those sentiments because I missed those. Just saw your comment about PTI affiliate and wondered how that came to be. I don’t have many followers so it isn’t something I would benefit from, but I’m just curious as I’ve not seen that before on other blogs. Perfect color wheel card!
How clever! Your sentiment is eye catching by itself but the hearts make it pop! I'm not sure if I have ever seen either of these two sets before.
