Friends Forever ~ Mojo Monday

Here is the sketch for Mojo Monday. Having the summer off lets me participate in many of the challenges I follow throughout the year. You may also have noticed I've changed my blog look. This is what happens when you have a lot of time on your hands. But it's something that I revel in as once September comes, I'll be too busy for such luxuries...but I digress. Here is my card with lots of bling and a butterfly...my SU die needed some lovin' today. I was also able to use up 2 of my HUGE rhinestones. Love when I can do that. Happy Monday!!

Recipe:
Stamps: Verve Kindred Spirits; PTI Fancy Flourishes (on the butterfly)
Paper: SU pumpkin pie, choc chip, pomegranate, kiwi kiss, white, dp; Fancy Pants dp, brown fibre (craft supply), PTI aqua mist
Ink: SU choc chip, versamark
Accessories: nestabilities, white grosgrain, cuttlebug EF, gemstones, SU butterfly die, photo corner punch

Hey, hey, good for you Marueen! I have been avoiding the blog thing for some time now as I just don't have a lot of extra time, but I think I will dive in here shortly -- with the assitance of my very capapble sixth grade daughter (I'm getting old LOL!!). Any tips you can offer as to who you went with for your blog, are you going freebee or paying etc. would be great. Or if you don't mind me asking you a few questions along the way as I learn about this new stuff, that would be appreciate, but by NO means expected.

Congrats on your son going in Engineering at UBC! My DH is an engineer (chemical) so I'm partial to them LOL (even though he hasn't prarcticed his trade for some 10 years or so nos)

Great mojo card too. We're off on vacation to the Island for a week so no time to play today :( WIll have to wait a few weeks. Keep up the great work :D

As always beautiful. That paper by Fancy Pants is one of my favourites. Now that I know what SU colours go with it, it will be easy to pull cards or SB pages together.
