Well-behaved Women

Good morning!!! Happy July 7th!!! More on that later....today's card is for the Cinema Saturday Creative Challenge.  I rented the movie and just loved it :)  Even though it's about an Indian family...I could relate to the family pressures of how you should live your life.  Sometimes it can come from older siblings as well, not just parents.  I thought this sentiment was perfect to reflect Jess' journey.  The colours were inspired by the colourful saris hanging on the clothes line in the back yard.  This cute Jolee's butterfly is a new purchase and represents Jess' new life after her parents accept her passion and let her start a new life in America.  Okay...onto the more personal part of this post...

What's in it?
Paper: pti berry sorbet, white, su kiwi kiss, Michaels dp
Accessories: computer generated sentiment, circle nestabilities, gemstones, sheer ribbon, Jolee's butterfly, prima flower

Today the dh and I are celebrating our 3rd anniversary...yes, just number 3...not 30 or 40...just little ol' 3.  I married later in life, which, now that I reflect on it, was the best thing for me.  I was able to raise my son the way I wanted and develop my career.  I also got to know well what I did and didn't want in a significant other.  In short, it worked for me.  We are celebrating the day by going out for breakfast, then onto the little Farmer's Market down town, and then out for dinner at our favourite restaurant.  I posted the card I made for him a few weeks ago (it was another Cinema Saturday card!).  Here it is along with the one I made him last year.  I'm into adding pictures to make them super personal.  Anyways...thanks for visiting and break some rules today!!!  LOL

Have a wonderful anniversary celebration Maureen!
Your card is lovely -the quote is perfect for the film, as is the butterfly representing Jess' changes.
