Sunshine and Smiles #2

sunshineandsmiles2

Hi everyone!!  Well, I’m back safe and sound from my out of town teaching conference.  It was fabulous and I can’t wait to try something I learned in my class this week :)  I’ve tried switching gears now to card making and thought I would ease into it with a card for Stacey’s Curtain Call Colour Challenge.  Stacey is throwing us some fabulous bright colours and I just love them.  I’ve been on a white card base kick lately.  I just love the crisp, clean look of it.  This card is also my second card in the Sunshine and Smiles series, a set of cards for a colleague who always uses “Sunshine and Smiles” with her signature :)  Well, that’s about it for me…off to do some household things before getting back to the studio.  Thanks for stopping by today :)

Well you've eased back into it like a duck to water, Diva! Glad you had a great time at your conference (any tips on how to deal with grumpy teenagers at all? LOL!)
Loving your sunshine and smiles series - can't wait to see more :D
Now get the household things outta the way quick so you can make the most of your studio time *wink*

Yay for a positive experience =) Glad to see you've found some crafting time, too....this is such a pretty card. I love those darn dies!
My latest PTI arrived on Friday, but I wasn't around and now Tuesday can't come soon enough!
I always love a white card base and you do it up perfectly with those rounded corners and fabulous spots!

I used a note paper image for my CurtainCall card too. In fact, when I finished my card, I thought of you--sort of felt like a "Moe" card when I looked at it (minus the patterned paper--I'm still trying to figure out how to use it as well as you do). I wish I had some seam binding to add to it. Still on the hunt for some!
Any way--love your layout for this card, and those flowers are delish!

Great card, Maureen -- as usual! Love the sunshine and smiles sentiment. I'm hopelessly behind on your blog. I'll try to catch up one of these days. Today I'm taking a "mental health" day from work and am enjoying the morning in my quiet house. I should say quiet but messy house. I think cleaning it up would do a ton for my mental health, so that's on the agenda for today. (Although, I'd rather sit around and catch up with you!) :)
