My Dear Friend ~ Karen's Sweet Sketch

Greeting, dear blog friends!! Can you believe it's the first of December? Today's card is for Karen's sweet Sunday Sketch. I needed a card for a good friend's birthday on the 10th. I was inspired by one of Karen's sketch designers, Laura. She used ribbon for the strips on the side. I just love this aqua dp from Michaels. I matched it up with chocolate chip and melon berry. Some buttons and bling and there you have it!! I hope you have a lovely day :) Thanks for all your sweet and encouraging comments...they really mean a lot to me and make me smile :)

What's in it?
Stamps: SU All Holidays
Ink: SU choc chip
Paper: SU choc chip, PTI aquamist, melon berry, white, Recollections dp
Accesories: circle nestabilities, gemstones, PTI buttons and ribbon, SU silver cording

I have always just loved that sentiment but can't bring myself to by the set for just one stamp LO!L Great take on Karen's sketch. Love the snowflake DP (may have to check my Mike's for it as I've missed it somehow) and the buttons on the ribbon look great! I'm sure your friend will love the card :D

What a perfect sentiment for that big circle. Your friend is going to love this card! And I love the little button embellishments you added to the ribbon details.

Well, two days and 12 parent conferences done, 2 days and 8 parent conferences to go. So far, so good. I think I had my toughest one today. I think dad was a little in denial about his daughter's focusing troubles. Oh well. Hopefully they will keep working with me throughout the rest of the school year. I guess the one nice thing about this week is minimum days all week! The days go so quickly!
