You're So Sweet ~ Mercy's Tuesday Sketch

Wow! Has it been my lucky week or what? Last night I learned that I had won one of the Verve Release challenges for my Thank-you Cover Up card :D That in addition to my Project Parade win last week and I am in Verve heaven!! I need to buy a lottery ticket now :) Today's card is for Mercy's Tuesday sketch. I hummed and hawed about what images to use, but after today's win, I was Verve inspired!! Also inspired by Julee's lovely card, I made my card base white and layered chocolate chip with kraft...ooooh, yummy! The kraft panel is embossed with the snowflakes folder and stitched onto the chocolate chip layer. Next up was my favourite Eskimo Kisses paper, a little more stitching and the Papercrafts snowflake border punch. I picked this sentiment with Julee in mind as she is so sweet and generous and talented and...and...and...! Green was the best colour for ribbon as I tried out about 5 different colours. There is a hint of green on the plaid paper so it all ties in well. A little bling, a snowflake and there she is!! One more day till Friday :) Oh, and check out my friend Laural's blog candy...she's got some amazing paper up for grabs :) It ends on December 5th. Have a glorious day!!
