Date Night ~ Admit Two

Good morning, sweet blog buddies :) Thanks for taking time out of your busy day to visit :) Today's card is for Mercy's Tuesday Sketch Challenge. I couldn't resist using some more of my new Making Memories Love Struck collection. Even though I got a few other goodies on our fun road trip 2 weeks ago, the trip would've still been a success if the only purchase I made was these sweet love tickets :) I just think they are adorable!! No stamping required :) Mercy's great sketches leave so many options open... clean, simple, layered, embellished...whatever you like!! I knew I wanted to use this Love Struck dp and then just added from there. I found the polkadot base panel a little flat so I added the stitching which seemed to give it the right amount of texture. It was getting a little too pink (yes, you can have too much!! LOL) so I added an aqua bow to tone it down a bit (although it's still pretty pink!! LOL). Hmmmm, too girly to give a man? I'm sure they would overlook the scallops, ribbon and bling if we outlined what kind of date night we would like to have with them inside the card (wink, wink). I've actually given my son a few cards to give to his girlfriend...maybe he'd like this one too :) Or maybe I could give it to one of my girlfriends when we need a girl date night!! Lots of choices :) Have a wonderful day....TGIF tomorrow :)

What's in it?
Paper: PTI kraft, polkadot dp; SU choc chip; Making Memories Love Struck dp

You are too cute, Maureen. I was giggling as I thought about how correct you are in saying pink and ribbon would become some new favorites for any male based on what was on the inside of the card LOL!

You and my DD would get along great with all the pinks :D Love the aqua ribbon - such a gorgeous colour and adds a nice bit of pop to the card. Great use of Mercy's sketch :D

Gorgeous! I think any guy would appreciate this card - it's fabulous though the idea of giving it to your son to give to his girlfriend is a really sweet idea!
I love that splash of aqua mist and just how do you tie bows as beautiful as that! I'm really jealous!
TGIF tomorrow, indeedy! It can't come too soon!
