Friends Forever ~ Viva La Verve

I became a HUGE fan of Verve stamps in February of this year and after winning a few of them and purchasing a few I'm in a love affair with them. They have a design team (the Divas), one of which hosts "Viva La Verve" Friday challenges with a twist. Each week you post your card on SCS and then at the end of the month you post all your cards for the chance to win the next month's release!! This week the twist was to CASE one of the divas and if she used patterned paper, you had to use stamped paper and vice versa. It was difficult to pick just one to CASE but I eventually settled on Michelle Woerner's card.

Though I love the sketch, it didn't quite turn out how I imagined. I was determined to use the pompom trim I FINALLY found in Canada. I'm hoping it wasn't a one month trend last Spring...oh, well...I still love it. The card has two personalities, funky and elegant. However, we had to use stamped paper if the Diva used patterned paper so I went to my favourite raspberry ink on kraft. I think this card is growing on me. Have a fabulous day!
