Papertrey Ink September Blog Hop

happybirthdaybutton
Good morning and welcome to my take on this month’s Papertrey Ink Blog Hop challenge!  This month we are asked to be inspired by this photo…
September2011-3-Blog-Hop-Inspiration
Hmmm, all these stripes flew me for a loop, so I tried to focus on the colours for my first card.  I was SO determined to use my Button Card again, but wanted to add a little something from my new PTI order, the tab :)   This next card really was inspired by the stripes.  The first thing that popped into my head was ribbon.

Well, that’s all!! Not a lot of chit chat as I’m all talked out after talking all week long to 7 year olds!! LOL  Ah, back at work with a vengeance!  Enjoy the rest of the Hop and thanks so much for all your sweet comments :)  Hugs!!

Keep me posted on the house work today! What is the estimated moving day? I love all those big scrumptious bows with the white space to balance them perfectly.

And...I am in love with the gray doilie on the first...thought of you as I used my snowflake dies yesterday and was poking the little pieces out of the felt! Not as many small bits as the doilie...but tries my patience LOL!

PS You'll laugh when you see the glitter all over my cards...we must have been on the same wave length yesterday needing glitter!

What wonderful cards! Love the bright colours on all of the white space. Very pretty ribbon on the second one and love all the special little touches on the first. I miss my crafty supplies! Haven't had time touch them in awhile... :(

Have a great day!

Your cards are awesome. My favorite is definitely the ribbon one - I think I just love the simplicity of it.

I love how you worked with the colors in the first card. The shine on the buttons is cool. Love all the textures on this card.
