Let it Snow ~ Curtain Call Inspiration Challenge

Happy Sunday everyone!  I’m officially done my first semester so now I can focus on the last week with my students and start getting the house in order for arriving family members.  Today’s card is for the brand new Curtain Call Inspiration Challenge: Sweet Snowflakes.

I took my inspiration from the colours and, of course, from the gorgeous snowflakes.  I made a HUGE snowflake out of felt and layered it with smaller glitter snowflakes for a bedazzling effect!  Uniko Stamps is our sponsor this week and graciously sent each DT member this set…Stunning Snowflakes.

Make Every Moment Count ~ CASE # 111

Hello friends!  Welcome to a new month of amazing inspiration over on the CASE Study challenge blog.  We have another “royalty” card maker this month (IMHO)…the super talented Julia Stainton from Belle Papier.  If you don’t recognize her name, you will recognize the paper she designs for Lilybee Designs!  I squealed when I found out she is responsible for some of my most loved paper!  So it was a no brainer which paper pad to pull out for my first card this month :) 

I was inspired by the kraft card base, the berry colours and the clocks.  I’m using stamps from Uniko Studio.  They were perfect for the clocks and sentiment I wanted to add.  Now, pay special attention to the time I put on the clock…2:26! Wait a Minute!

Ah, it’s the last day of March and I’m hoping it goes out like a lamb!  I’m also hoping to get a good seat at the Hunger Games!! LOL  I’ve recently finished all the books in the trilogy and am looking forward to the first film.  Don’t tell me how it ends!  {wink!!} I received a sweet birthday gift from my bestie, Aimes, and couldn’t wait to ink up one of these delicious clocks and coordinating sentiments.  I picked the time that Timex always displays on their clocks :)  OR where my hands go on the steering wheel when driving in snow! LOL  The colour palette is courtesty of this week’s colourQ challenge.  I’ll leave you with a couple more cards that were published this past month in CARDS.
