Wild Thing ~ Viva La Verve!

Happy Fri-yay, friends!  It's February 2nd, Groundhog Day, new Viva La Verve sketch day, and the DH's birthday!  So let's get this party started!  I'm using the new VLV sketch to wish my "Wild Thing" a year with as much joy as he's brought into my life {insert mushy heart emoji here!}. I chose some fun outdoorsy paper, this fun sentiment from Verve's All My Love digi set, and sponged the hearts with some distress ink so they would look like camo hearts! New Year's Mantra ~ Viva La Verve

Happy New Year, friends!  I have been AOL these past few weeks... just enjoying a house full of company, then cleaning, then reading, then having lazy mornings.  However, I am now taking some time to warm up the studio and start creating.  I found my one word for the new year, "calm."  I thought this sentiment from Verve's Winter Peace Digi was perfect to express my new mantra for 2018.  I'm using a brand new Viva La Verve sketch and some more Verve goodies to create the first card of 2018!  Head over to the Viva La Verve blog and play along this month!  Thanks for stopping by!

Let Every Heart ~ Viva La Verve

A Whole Lot of Awesome ~ Curtain Call Inspiration

Hello everyone! It's time for a new challenge over on the  Curtain Call Inspiration Challenge.  This time we’re inspired by this photo…

Ah, it's September and time for me to say goodbye to my beloved vacation.  I had a wonderful restful and fun time with lazy mornings, daily workouts, traveling, visiting, professional reading, reading for fun, and time in the studio.  But now it's back to school.  I took the colours from the inspiration photo and used them to create a card for our school secretary 'cause she is definitely "a whole lot of awesome."  I will put this on her desk ready for the first day of school :)  I am also using the latest Viva La Verve sketch!  Yes, Viva La Verve is back with monthly sketches!  Check it out over on the Viva La Verve blog.
