Hello everyone! It’s Friday, but I’m not jumping and yelling TGIF because every day this week has been TGIF! I’ve been a busy little girl, trying to stay focused on all the little projects I have on the go and not just stamp the days away ;) So far so good! I find making a “to do” list keeps me on track :) Today’s card is based on the lovely Viva La Verve sketch created by Diva Charmaine :) I’m really excited the way it turned out. Those papers are from the Loyal paper pad by Authentique. I managed to use 4 stamp sets on this one! EEK! AND they’re all on SALE this month, so after checking out the Viva La Verve forum, head over and see what you need in your stamp collection :) Have a lovely day!

Verve July Diva Inspiration Hop!
Yahoo!! It’s time for another Verve Inspiration Blog Hop and us Release Team Divas have been invited to join the fun! I have been having a little love reunion with my Verve binders after a crazy month of work. Two days ago I went to our new LSS! Yes, a local store! ACK! Fortunately, they are just starting up so they didn’t have tons of product out but they did have these fabulous little Memorabilia Pockets and sweet wood buttons. When I have a little pocket like this, I love to make a little insert perfect to use as a bookmark :) Here’s the inside…
I’ve used this gorgeous sentiment from Kind Words, the blossom from Dream Big, the leaves from Bloom and Grow and the little “Just a Note” sentiment from Joyful Blooms.
Itching to get some new Verve? Continue through and comment on each fabulous blog and leave a little comment love and you just might win some Vervey goodness of your very own! You Made Me Smile Today ~ CASE Study #98
Hello friends! It’s the first week of a new month so that means we have a fabulous new Muse to inspire us all month long over on the CASE Study challenge! For the next 4 weeks the sweet and talented, Kristii Lockart, will be getting our creative juices flowing. Up first is this totally adorable baby card…
I must confess that I struggled with an idea. I so wanted to recreate that stamped fence look, but I just couldn’t get it to work. So when that happens, I step back and think of what else can I be inspired by…ah, the layout and the flowers and some cool way to display the flowers. So I found some lovely paper to frame my card, then pulled out my Verve dies and stamps and started die cutting and stamping my little heart out :) As I was playing around with the flower die cuts, I slipped the little ones underneath the frame. EUREKA! I loved the cool look of this. Now I must share with you that this sweet sentiment is from the very first Verve stamp set I won oh so many years ago, Thankful Blossoms. I had very good luck with their contests and always joke that I won so much they put me on the payroll! LOL I hope all my American friends had a fabulous 4th of July!! Thanks for stopping by…now head over to the CASE Study blog to see what the other DT members were inspired then play along!! We love seeing your interpretations :)

Happy Independence Day! (and new SALE)
Good morning! Well, my southern neighbours are celebrating their country’s special day today so I thought this would be the perfect time to share the card I had published in the June CARDS magazine. I had to laugh that I’m Canadian getting a 4th of July card published, but I’ve got relatives and good friends in the US so I’m calling myself an honourary citizen :) Not to mention I help out their economy several times each month! ACK!! LOL Here’s one more mini card that was in the same issue…
oh, I love those sweet wood banners! That’s all for me until tonight…come back for my CASE Study post…we have a new Muse!! Woohoo! Also, if you haven’t been over to the Verve store, head over there RIGHT now to check out the new SALE…it ends July 31st! Have a glorious day :)

I Need Some Girl Talk
Good morning! Well, this card is very appropriate for today…I’ll be getting some great girl talk in with a dear friend at breakfast this morning :) One of the MANY things I love about being off in the summer is being out and about during the week…breakfast downtown, making appointments when it suits me, and shopping when it’s not busy :) It’s these little things I really appreciate. Today’s card uses the current My Favourite Things sketch challenge. I haven’t used my sweet Latte A La Mode gal for awhile so I dug her out and paired her with a sentiment from Girl Talk. I felt my Lilybee Design papers were perfect for a cheery, summery look. Hope your morning finds you cheery as well. Thanks so much for visiting :) Your comments always make me smile :)

Glorious and Free (Made in Canada)
Good morning! It’s July 1st and that means that all of Canada is having a party. Our young country is 145 today :) So I had to dig out my maple leaf ribbon that really only seems appropriate today. When I saw this week’s Retro Sketch, I thought it would be fun to use it for my Canada Day card and post :) I was going to make all the sweet little hearts maple leaves, but the ribbon had enough! LOL I’m using my favourite Stampin’ Up! Canadian set “Glorious and Free.” I stamped the “Made in Canada” in Going Gray ink, then stamped it off twice before stamping on the paper to make a kind of watermark effect. I took a little liberty with the sketch so I could make those red side panels, meant to mimic our flag. Thanks for stopping by! I’m off to the celebrations downtown…don’t wait up, eh!
